Terms & Conditions
Effective 26 June 2026 · athlopadel (www.athlopadel.com)
1. Who we are and what athlopadel does
athlopadel is a padel platform spanning the website (www.athlopadel.com) and the Athlo mobile app, sharing one account. The website organizes and follows tournaments — player registration, scheduling, live scoring, standings, knockout draws and statistics — plus informal sparring sessions between clubs. The Athlo app is for casual social play: create or join a casual session, record scores, and build a shared social skill rating and stats. Tournaments are created and run by independent organizers; athlopadel provides the software and is not the organizer, promoter or sponsor of any tournament unless explicitly stated.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information when creating an account, including your name, date of birth, nationality, contact details, a recognizable profile photo and an honest self-declared starting level. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Accounts created via Google sign-in are subject to these same terms. Guest profiles created by a registering partner, a sparring host or an organizer may be claimed by their owner by signing in or registering with the invited email.
3. Tournament registration
Registering for a tournament is a request, not a guarantee of entry. The organizer decides whether to accept a registration after manually reviewing the information provided (including photo, identity document and payment proof where the tournament requires them). Organizers may reject a registration at their discretion. Once a registration is accepted, eligibility is settled: later profile changes do not remove a confirmed entry.
4. Sparring and casual play
Sparring (web) and casual play (app) are informal features, separate from tournaments. Any signed-in player can create a session, add or invite other players (including as guest profiles), and record match scores. There is no registration approval, entry fee or organizer oversight. Casual sessions in the app build your social skill rating. The session creator is responsible for the accuracy of the recorded participants and scores, and for any session name or banner image they upload — which must not be unlawful, offensive or infringing. Sparring pages (participant names and scores) are public; casual sessions in the app are private to their participants. Players added as guests may claim their record by signing in or registering.
5. Payments and refunds
athlopadel never processes money. Entry fees, payment proof and refunds are handled directly between players and the organizer outside the platform. The payment status shown in the app is a manual record the organizer sets for their own convenience after verifying payment themselves; it is provided on a best-effort basis and may not always be complete, current or accurate. Organizers are strongly encouraged to keep their own independent record of who has paid and been refunded and should not rely on the platform’s status alone. To the maximum extent permitted by law, athlopadel accepts no responsibility for any payment, refund, financial loss, discrepancy or mismanagement of funds; any payment dispute is strictly between the player and the organizer.
6. Fair play, honesty of level, and disqualification
Padel categories rely on accurate skill levels. Organizers may disqualify a confirmed team during a tournament — for example for substantiated complaints of misrepresented playing level — with a recorded reason. On disqualification, results already played stand and the team’s remaining matches are forfeited to the opponents. Organizers may also correct a player’s stored level after a tournament, with a logged reason.
7. Live scores and statistics
Scores are entered courtside by referees and may contain human error. Standings, brackets and statistics are computed from those entries. The organizer’s decision on any scoring or result dispute is final; athlopadel does not arbitrate sporting disputes.
8. Public information
By participating you accept that your name, city, skill rating, profile photo, match results and aggregated point statistics are displayed publicly on tournament, sparring and player pages. Sensitive personal data (date of birth, nationality, phone, email, identity documents, payment information) is never published — see the Privacy Policy.
9. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the platform: no false identities, no harvesting of other users’ data, no attempts to disrupt scoring or interfere with tournaments, no unlawful, offensive or infringing content (including profile photos and sparring banners). We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules.
10. Physical activity disclaimer
Padel is a physical sport. Participation in any tournament or sparring session is at your own risk. athlopadel and tournament organizers are not responsible for injuries, loss or damage arising from participation, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
11. Service availability and liability
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it fast and reliable, including during live play, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, athlopadel’s total liability for any claim related to the platform is limited to the amount you paid to athlopadel in the 12 months before the claim (the website and casual play are free; some app features may require an optional subscription).
12. Subscriptions (app)
The Athlo app is free for casual play, joining clubs and building your rating. Some organizing-at-scale features may require an optional auto-renewing subscription, purchased and billed through your Apple App Store account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings; uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.
13. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time (in the app, or via the contact page on the web). Deletion anonymizes your account: we scrub your personal contact data, but anonymized match and tournament records may be retained so other players’ results and history stay intact. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
14. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be indicated by the effective date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the platform and request account deletion at any time via the contact page.
15. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Questions about these terms: see the contact page.
